UMass Lowell Folk Dance Club

UML FDC

The UMass Lowell Folk Dance Club (UML FDC) is a recreational club that learns traditional folk dances from around the world. We dance on Tuesday evenings with master teacher Andy Taylor from 7:30-9pm ET. International Folk Dancing is an enriching, accessible, and high energy activity. All are welcome, and no experience is required to join! Currently we do social dancing only, and we are not a performing group. This semester our meetings will be hybrid. We dance in person in Studio 2 at the Campus Recreation Center on East Campus, and online on Zoom at the Tuesday Community Dance.

We are now on Zoom!

With this new virtual learning we are now hosting hybrid Community Dances through Zoom, and we have a video that will explain what we are all about. Just click on the picture on the left to see the fun! So come and join us, online and in person, to immerse yourself in dances from around the world.
